Headaches are horrible, they bang on your head like nothing else. They get worse when you are stressed and if the weather changes. And they take so much time out of your day when you have one. Headaches can last between 30 minutes and a few hours. Sometimes your headache turns into a migraine and can last for quite a few days.
Some headaches are caused by a toothache, where your mouth is linked to your head. Sometimes it is caused by inflamed sinuses. We wanted to share some tips on some natural ways to help get rid of your headache.

Sipping Ginger Tea
Ginger tea is really good for migraines. Ginger helps to soothe sickness feelings you have. That’s why it is recommended for pregnant women. Making ginger tea is so easy to do. You just need to add three cups of boiling water over 2 tablespoons of freshly grated ginger. Then use a sieve to strain it. You can also buy ginger tea bags from the supermarket or online.
Soaking Your Feet In Warm Water
It is a well-known fact that your feet affect your head. So if you have a headache, it is only logical that soaking your feet in warm water will help get rid of a headache. Mixing mustard powder in the hot water will help you by stimulating the blood flow. then the dilated vessels underneath your scalp are drawn down to your feet. Hopefully getting rid of the headache.
Sinus Massage
If you have a sinus headache, then a simple massage can help to relieve the pressure. A sinus headache feels like pressure over your nose. To relieve it, you simply use your middle fingers to massage the points in your face opposite the nostrils. Massage your head in clockwise circles for 2 or 3 minutes.
Have A Cup Of Tea
Have tea, coffee or other drink with caffeine in it. Quite often we are so used to drinking caffeinated drinks, but if we stop it causes headaches. So if you have a drink with caffeine in, it gets your body used to a bit of caffeine in it.
Wearing A Head Band
Wearing a headband or bandana that is tied tightly around your forehead will reduce the amount of blood that is flowing to your scalp and then the throbbing should stop.
A Hot Flannel
Take a hot flannel and run it under hot water, wring it out and fold it into a compress. Then place this on your head, this should stop the throbbing. This is for a tension headache and if you add some mustard powder to the hot water, it helps to get rid of the headache.
A Cold Flannel
For migraines, and cluster headaches you will do the opposite from the hot flannel. Use a cold compress because it will constrict the blood vessels and reduce the blood flow to your scalp, therefore taking pressure off your head and helping to ease the headache.
Changing Your Diet
Foods high in sugar, preservatives, alcohol can affect your body and cause headaches. Eating and drinking these things can cause sleepless nights and then cause headaches. You might find that headaches happen more often after eating certain foods. If this is happening, try to work out which food it is and cut it out of your diet. Changing your diet can dramatically change how your body feels.
